18th CUR CONFERENCE

July 1-3, 2018

Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington, VA

 

The 18th CUR Biennial Conference, "Creating Collaborative Connections in and through Undergraduate Research," will take place at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA, on July 1–3, 2018. Faculty, administrators, staff, academic and community partners, and policymakers will share interdisciplinary investigations—both individual and collaborative—across local, national, and international contexts, as they showcase models of undergraduate research activities at all types of higher education institutions. Showcasing novel ideas in plenary talks, stimulating sessions, and informal networking activities, the conference will offer practical strategies and future directions for undergraduate research at higher education institutions and organizations around the world.  

CUR invites proposals that address the following themes in any discipline (Learn more about the conference themes):

  •          Integrating and Building Undergraduate Research into Curriculum and Coursework
  •          Assessing the Impact of Undergraduate Research
  •          Fostering Diversity and Inclusion in Undergraduate Research
  •          Promoting Innovation and Collaboration in Undergraduate Research
  •          Advancing Internationalization and Undergraduate Research
  •          Other non-theme proposals

To begin a submission for an oral or poster presentation, click "Start New Submission" below.  All submissions will be peer-reviewed. 

Acceptance of sessions will be sent by early March 2018 or earlier.

**Presenters of interactive presentations, panels, performance/displays or workshops that cannot be accommodated in the schedule but fit with the conference theme will be encouraged to share their ideas via a poster presentation.
